The Department of Architecture was established in 2002 under the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment. The undergraduate programs offered are Bachelor of Science in Architecture (LAM Part I) and Master of Architecture (LAM Part II) are semi-professional degrees. Offers an accredited architecture program, it comprises courses such as design studio, history and theory of architecture, environmental science, building structures, building services, architectural communication, building technology and materials. The program is oriented towards the design studio course, which is the core for the programme.

STUDY SYSTEM
The faculty adopted the semester system. This system divides the academic session of two periods of similar length and distinctive. A semester consists of several weeks of lectures, tutorials, laboratories and so on, week mid-semester holidays and exams. In this system, students gather the number of units required to earn a degree within the period allowed.
STUDY
The minimum period is five (5) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semester, subject to existing regulations.
STRUCTURAL STUDIES
Students must take and pass at least one hundred twenty-two (122) credit hours.
