Abstract

This paper discusses the application of Linear Programming technique in planting and consump tron of four types of grass in a typical milk farm in Malaysia. The purpose is to maximize farm income while subjected to vanous resource constraints such as operating budget, work force and land arta. The paper shows how the farm management problem is formulated as a Linear Pro gramming problem and how coefficient values for the objective function and constraints are obtained.
