The MetaSkool ToT session in Pekan, Pahang marked a meaningful continuation of our mission to cultivate future-ready educators and students through immersive digital learning. This time, we were honoured to conduct the training at one of the appointed Digital Maker Hubs (DMH) by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), strategically located in the STEM Lab of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMP). As a hub designed to nurture innovation, creativity, and digital competency among Malaysian youth, the setting provided the perfect environment for our educators and students to dive deep into emerging technologies and metaverse integration in education.

The session brought together 17 passionate teachers and 30 enthusiastic students from various schools across the Pekan district. Throughout the day, participants explored engaging digital tools, collaborative virtual platforms, and hands-on activities that highlighted the potential of metaverse applications in the classroom. The energy and curiosity displayed by both teachers and students reaffirmed our belief in the importance of equipping schools with the knowledge and tools to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.

With each session, we continue to see the impact of MetaSkool’s vision coming to life—bridging the gap between traditional education and future-forward pedagogy. As we look ahead, several more ToT sessions are lined up across the country, each one playing a crucial role in shaping a digitally empowered generation of learners and educators.
