MetaSkool ToT @ SSTP JPN Negeri Sembilan
The MetaSkool Training of Trainers (ToT) session in Negeri Sembilan marked yet another inspiring chapter in our journey to reimagine education through immersive digital learning. Hosted over two days, the session brought together a dynamic group of educators and students, united by a shared passion for innovation and the future of learning.
Held in collaboration with schools from every district across Negeri Sembilan, the program successfully trained a total of 10 dedicated teachers and 22 forward-thinking students. This diverse participation reflected the growing momentum and enthusiasm for integrating emerging technologies—particularly the metaverse—into mainstream education.
One of the session’s standout moments was watching students take creative control of their virtual environments using Spatial, a collaborative 3D platform. Their ability to transform their metaverse projects into interactive experiences that resembled video games was nothing short of impressive. It was a powerful reminder of how immersive tools can unlock creativity and deepen learning in ways traditional classrooms often cannot.
The closing ceremony was graced by Timbalan Pengarah PPD Kuala Pilah, Encik Rosafiz, whose opening greeting—“Salam digital, salam metaverse!”—perfectly captured the spirit of the event. In his address, he also highlighted the Ministry of Education’s ongoing efforts to modernise the national curriculum, with a renewed focus on digitalisation, subject integration, and sign language. His message underscored the importance of inclusivity and adaptability in preparing students for the future.
With each ToT session, we continue to witness the incredible potential of educators and learners across Malaysia. Negeri Sembilan’s program reaffirmed our belief in the transformative power of digital education and the critical role of teacher-student collaboration in this space.
As MetaSkool expands its reach, we remain committed to fostering a future where technology enhances learning, creativity thrives, and every student has the tools to succeed in a digital world.
