On 23 June 2026, the Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Centre (PKWTFH) held a discussion session with the UKM Islamic Centre at the UKM Islamic Centre to explore potential strategic collaborations in conjunction with the upcoming anniversary celebration of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

The discussion involved Dr. Noremy Md. Akhir, Head of PKWTFH; Dr. Nashrah Hani Jamadon, Deputy Director of the UKM Islamic Centre; and Professor Emerita Dr. Che Husna Azhari. The session focused on proposed programmes and joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the role of women in the development of families, communities, and society.

Beyond expanding the collaborative network between both centres, the meeting also provided a platform for sharing ideas and expertise in developing impactful programmes aligned with the aspirations of women empowerment and the celebration of UKM’s 57th anniversary.

PKWTFH extends its highest appreciation to the UKM Islamic Centre for hosting the session and hopes that this collaboration will pave the way for meaningful initiatives that benefit the university community and society at large.
