Women Police Leadership and Management Development Seminar

On the last 8 December 2025, members of the Centre for Women’s Leadership Tun Fatimah Hashim (PKWTFH) attended the Women Police Leadership and Management Development Seminar held at Dewan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Royal Malaysia Police College, Kuala Lumpur.

Seminar Session 1, entitled “Courageous and Credible: Women’s Leadership in the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM)”, was delivered by YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad, Associate Senior Fellow of PKWTFH.

During the session, she shared insights on global developments in the women’s equality agenda since the International Women’s Year (1975) and the First World Conference on Women in Mexico City, highlighting how this international momentum has continued to shape policies, leadership opportunities, and women’s participation in the security sector, including within the Royal Malaysia Police.
