Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation Format:

Each oral paper presentation will be allocated in 15 minutes slots. Presenters must give 10 minutes for the presentation itself + 5 minutes for Q&A with the audience. Session rooms will have a laptop with software tools (like PowerPoint), a data projector and a screen. We recommend presenters to submit their slide before their presentation through: Link

Virtual Presentation Format:

Presenters that will participate with a virtual contribution. The presenters are required to prepare the pre-recorded video for the presentation itself: Recording a video of the presentation, and save it as a video. The file that you send us must be in VIDEO format (i.e., mp4 format), we won’t accept any other file formats, like .ppt files). For the Q&A session, the presenter will need to be available online after their presentations to answer questions from the participants. The video conferencing tools will be available through Microsoft Teams, and link will be sent before the conference date.You MUST NOT EXCEED 10 minutes presentation. Poster Presentation Format:

We regret to inform you that, due to unavoidable technical issues, the poster presentations that were initially planned to be conducted online can no longer be accommodated. Therefore, all poster presentations will be conducted physically at the hotel.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PREPARATION

The poster should contain the following sections:

  • Abstract
  • Introduction/Motivation
  • Objectives
  • Theory/Materials/Methods
  • Main Findings/Results
  • Conclusion
  • Selected References
  • Acknowledgement (if applicable)
  • List the principal author first and underline the name of the presenting author.
  • Contact details (optional) so that interested delegates may contact you.
  • The poster should provide sufficient information to convey the key points clearly.
  • Data should be presented using units that are generally accepted in scientific publications (the International System of Units (SI) is preferred).

POSTER DISPLAY AND PRESENTATION

  • The poster must be prepared in A1 portrait format (594 mm × 841 mm) and in high resolution.
  • Participants are responsible for printing their posters and for providing the necessary materials to mount the posters on the designated display panels (e.g., removable double-sided tape).
  • Posters must be displayed on the designated poster panels according to the scheduled presentation time.
  • Participants are encouraged to use their creativity in designing their posters to make them visually appealing, informative, and inclusive of all essential content.
  • The Best Poster Presenter Award will be presented to the selected winner.
