Conference Topics & Guidelines

The 36th International Conference of Analytical Sciences (SKAM36) 2024 invites you to submit abstracts for consideration.  Abstract must be submitted through Online Registration. Submitted abstracts can be considered for oral presentations or poster presentations.

The program of SKAM36 covers analytical sciences in a wide range of topics:

  • ADVANCED MATERIALS
  • BIOANALYSIS 
  • CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND INSTRUMENTATION
  • ORGANIC AND INORGANIC SYNTHESES
 

The conference scope covers (but not limited to) analytical instrumentation, biomedical analysis, biophysical analysis, biomolecular analysis, biosensors, chemical analysis, chemometrics, clinical chemistry, drug discovery, environmental analysis and monitoring, food analysis, forensic science, laboratory automation, materials science, metabolomics, agrochemical- residue analysis, pharmaceutical analysis, proteomics, surface science, computational chemistry and synthesis chemistry.


ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

To facilitate the submission process and the subsequent follow up process, please refer to the following guidelines.

  • The paper must be original and had not been previously presented / published elsewhere.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English using the Registration Form. Text must be typewritten in Times New Roman. Information on types setting can be obtained from Abstract Template.
  • Select your preferred mode of presentation (Oral / Poster – Size A0).
  • Abstract texts should have the following structure: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
  • The abstract may contain up to a maximum of 250 words.
  • The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 15th May 2024.
  • Once the abstract submission has been successful, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please ensure your email address is correct.
  • For each abstract, the Registration Fees for the presenting author should be paid as soon as possible.

 


POSTER GUIDELINES

Please refer to the following guidelines:

  • Recommended programme/tool: PowerPoint/Adobe/Canva
  • Poster Size: 841 mm x 594 mm (A1)
  • Orientation: Portrait
  • Recommended Content of the Poster: Title (should be brief and match with the submitted abstract), Research (Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, References and Acknowledgment) and Contact details (optional), so that interested delegates may contact you.
  • Data must be given in units that are generally accepted in scientific publications (international metric system is preferred).
  • The logo of the affiliated institution/university should be placed on the upper left hand corner, whilst the first author’s color photograph (passport style) should be placed on the upper right hand corner of the poster.
  • Poster should be written ONLY in English language.
  • Posters should include a good combination of words, pictures, and graphics. They should include the results and conclusions of the papers, but authors are suggested to avoid including too much text in it.
  • POSTERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE DISPLAYED THROUGHOUT THE CONFERENCE.
  • Posters representing authors are required to be available for presentation during the scheduled poster sessions.
  • The poster should be put up no later than 9 am on the first day of the conference.

 


PUBLICATIONS
