FKAB Robing Ceremony

The Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB) at UKM recently hosted the Majlis Pemakaian Jubah Graduan Ijazah Kedoktoran 2025 (PhD Robing Ceremony) at the Akademia Siber Teknopolis. The prestigious event celebrated the perseverance and success of 56 PhD graduates alongside their dedicated supervisors.

Among the day’s most notable highlights was the recognition of Dr. Wan Nazihah Liyana Wan Jusoh and Dr. Noor Fadhilah Rahmat, both of whom were honored with the Graduate on Time (GOT) Award. This award is a testament to their exceptional discipline and research management, completing their doctoral journeys within the stipulated timeframe.

In a moment of significant pride, Dr. Wan Nazihah Liyana Wan Jusoh was selected as the Graduate Representative. Delivering an inspiring speech on behalf of the 2025 cohort, she reflected on the resilience required to navigate the PhD journey and the vital role of mentorship. Her accolades extend further as she was also named the recipient of the Hadiah Buku Inovasi MTDC (MTDC Innovation Book Prize), recognizing her contributions to innovation and research excellence.
