National Electrospinning Meeting and Demonstration 2024

On 7 October 2024, our research team had the opportunity to participate in the National Electrospinning Meeting and Demonstration 2024, held at Bangi Resort Hotel, Bandar Baru Bangi, under the Nano Kebangsaan (NanoKEB) 2024. This event served as an excellent platform for researchers, academics, and industry professionals to come together and share insights on electrospinning technology and its applications in nanomaterial research.

The program featured an engaging series of presentations and discussions on the latest advancements, challenges, and innovations in electrospinning, followed by a live demonstration of the electrospinning machine. Participants gained valuable hands-on exposure to nanofiber fabrication processes and a deeper understanding of how electrospinning contributes to sustainable material development and advanced manufacturing.

Representing our research team were Mr. Muhammad Alif Fitri, Mrs. Siti Aisyah Syazwani, Mrs. Wan Nazihah Liyana and Dr Wan Hafizi,  who actively took part in knowledge-sharing sessions and explored new ideas for future collaborative projects in nanotechnology and biomaterials.

The program provided significant benefits to participants enhancing their technical understanding, research perspectives, and networking opportunities with experts across Malaysia’s growing nanotechnology community. Initiatives such as NanoKEB 2024 continue to strengthen Malaysia’s research ecosystem by promoting innovation, technology transfer, and multidisciplinary collaboration, paving the way for a more sustainable and knowledge-driven future.
