Research Visit – Lanzhou, China

We are delighted to share that our researcher, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shaiful Sajab, was invited to present at the International Symposium on Frontiers and Development of Bioengineering, held from September 1st to 3rd, 2024, in Lanzhou, China. This prestigious event provided an excellent platform for us to showcase our research findings and engage in valuable networking opportunities.

During the conference, we presented our latest research, which was well-received by the international audience. The event facilitated meaningful discussions and collaborations with fellow researchers, enhancing our understanding of the current trends and advancements in bioengineering.

Following the conference, we had the opportunity to visit Northwest Minzu University, China. There, we met with our PhD student, Mrs. You Jen Xian, who is currently on a research visit for her project. We engaged in productive discussions with her and other postgraduate students, sharing research findings and discussing the progress of ongoing projects. This visit was instrumental in strengthening our academic ties and fostering a collaborative research environment.

Additionally, we took some time to explore the beautiful local attractions around Lanzhou such Lanzhou Danxia Geological Park. The experience was enriching, both academically and culturally, providing us with a deeper appreciation of the region’s heritage and natural beauty. We are grateful for the invitation to participate in the symposium and the warm hospitality extended by Northwest Minzu University. This trip has been a significant milestone in our research journey, and we look forward to future collaborations and continued progress in our field.
