Viva Voce – Siti Aisyah Syazwani

Warmest congratulations to Mrs. Siti Aisyah Syazwani Mohd Zaidi on the successful completion of her Master of Science, a milestone that reflects her commitment, resilience, and strong research spirit for sustainable materials research. She passed her Viva Examination with minor corrections on 30 November 2023 and submit the hardbound thesis on (date) marking the culmination of her hard work and commitment to excellence.

Her research on 3D Printing Biopolymer (PLA/PBS) Composites, focused on the development of biodegradable polymer blends tailored for advanced additive manufacturing. By combining polylactic acid (PLA) and polybutylene succinate (PBS), her study explored how biopolymer composites can be engineered to enhance mechanical properties, printability, and environmental sustainability paving the way for greener 3D printing technologies.

Aisyah’s research was conducted under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) scholarship through the TED 1 Grant: “Tunable Bio-poly(butylene succinate) Nanocomposite for Sustainable Additive Manufacturing.” This support enabled her to contribute valuable insights to the field of biodegradable polymer innovation and the growing movement toward green and innovative material technologies.
