Sustainability Challenge 2019

The Sustainability Challenge 2019 (SC 2019) is the third series of the competition that was initiated by UKM-YSD Chair for Sustainable Development: Zero Waste Technology with the objective of exploring and developing innovative ideas on sustainability of commodity crops industry. The previous competitions were held successfully on November 18, 2015 and November 29, 2017.

For the third challenge this year, the format has been changed completely compared to first two series. Instead of just selecting the top 10 ideas, for Sustainability Challenge 2019: Innovation and Invention Competition, all participants will be invited to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to present their ideas in front of the juries. The top 10 ideas and innovations will be selected to pitch their ideas in front of the Grand Jury. The top 3 winners will receive cash prizes awards. All participants will also be considered for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Sustainability Challenge 2019 medals.
