WELCOME TO ADVANCED SURGICAL SKILLS CENTRE

Advanced Surgical Skills Center (ASSC) is an advanced surgical skills training center that centers on high-tech instruments and facilities and global expertise. The establishment of ASSC is an important development in the history of medicine in Malaysia and can be a starting point to boost the reputation of UKM in particular and Malaysia in general as a tertiary education hub and a hub to improve high value medical services in the region.

At a young age, ASSC has managed to get extensive media coverage related to clinical courses and surgical workshops at the national and international levels. Internationally, ASSC has successfully made a name for itself starting with collaborations with several leading institutions and through international collaborations in conducting conferences, courses and workshops. This is in line with the country’s aspiration to become a developed country by 2020, through the Higher Education Strategic Plan launched by the Prime Minister on 27 August 2017 and also enhancing or promoting the Health Tourism sector.
