The Academic Paper is a core course in Bachelor in Business Administration (Hons) and Bachelor in Economics (Hons) programs. Through this course, students will conduct independent research ethically and professionally under the guidance of a supervisor. Writing an academic paper provides great advantages by connecting economic theory to practical solutions to current issues. It strengthens digital skills, fosters leadership and accountability, and improves self-skills for careers.

COURSE SYNOPSIS:
This course provides a platform for students to conduct independent research ethically and professionally under the supervision of a supervisor. Students can apply their knowledge of business management and administration through research to produce a field study research paper. Each student will be supervised by a lecturer specializing in the relevant field to produce a written report and presentation, which will be evaluated by the supervisor and subject matter experts from the faculty.

COURSE SYNOPSIS:
The academic paper is a written work in the form of a long essay that should not exceed 40 typed, double-spaced pages or 8,000 words. Its content should include the background information, the rationale of the study, objectives of the study, methodology, analysis and the study’s conclusions.
