Doctor of Philosophy (Research Mode):

1. Complete prerequisite courses (if applicable);
2. Present a research proposal in the first or second semester;
3. Prepare a thesis of no more than 100,000 words in the research field;
4. Publish two (2) journal articles indexed in Scopus/WoS; OR at least one (1) Scopus/WoS journal article AND one (1) article from the following categories:
   • Journals published by UKM and Faculty/Institute;
   • A book chapter published by a publisher listed in WoS, UKM Publisher, or MAPIM.
