Achieved a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 in STPM;

and

Achieved at least a Grade C (equivalent to CGPA 2.00) in the following subjects at the STPM level:

• Usuluddin/Syariah

and

• any one (1) of the following subjects:

• Sejarah

• Perakaunan
• Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

and

Achieved a minimum of Grade C (credit) in any one (1) of the following subjects at the SPM level:
• Bahasa Arab
• Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mua’sirah
• Turah Bahasa Arab
• Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah

or

Obtained a Grade D or E and possesses an Arabic Language Proficiency Certificate with at least Band A2 (based on the CEFR – The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or its equivalent from a recognised educational institution (applicable only for applications through the UKM Centre for Shaping Advanced & Professional Education – UKMShape);

and

Obtained at least Level 2.0 (Band 2.0) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for results obtained from Session 1 of the year 2021 onwards, or Band 2 for results from the year 2020 and earlier.

Achieved a minimum grade of Jayyid in the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

and

Obtained at least a credit (Grade C) at the SPM level in any one (1) of the following subjects:
•  Arabic Language
• Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mua’sirah
• Turah Bahasa Arab
• Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah

or

Obtained a Grade D or E and possesses an Arabic Language Proficiency Certificate with at least Band A2 (based on the CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised educational institution (applicable only for applications through the UKM Centre for Shaping Advanced & Professional Education – UKMShape);

and

Obtained at least Level 2.0 (Band 2.0) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for results obtained from Session 1 of 2021 onwards, or Band 2 for results from 2020 and earlier.

Possesses a related Diploma awarded by an institution recognised by both the University and the Government of Malaysia, and has achieved a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.70;

or

Possesses a related Diploma from an institution accredited by the University and the Government of Malaysia, with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50, along with at least one (1) year of relevant work experience;

and

Applicants must provide academic transcripts covering all semesters from Semester One (1) to the final semester.

and

Obtained at least a credit (Grade C) at the SPM level in any one (1) of the following subjects:
•  Arabic Language
• Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mua’sirah
• Turah Bahasa Arab
• Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah

or

Obtained at least the grade of Jayyid in the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM);

Obtained at least Grade C / Grade 6C at the SPM level in the subject of Arabic Language

Obtained at least a credit (Grade C) at the SPM level in any one (1) of the following subjects:
•  Arabic Language
• Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mua’sirah
• Turah Bahasa Arab
• Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah

or

Obtained Grade D or E and possesses an Arabic Language Proficiency Certificate with at least Band A2 (based on the CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised educational institution (applicable only for applications through the Centre for Educational Extension and Professional Development, UKMShape);

and

Passed the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with a credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia or a credit in the Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, and a pass in History;

and

Obtained at least a credit (Grade C) at the SPM level in any one (1) of the following subjects:
•  Arabic Language
• Al-Lughah Al-Arabiah Al-Mua’sirah
• Turah Bahasa Arab
• Al-Adab Wa Al-Balaghah;

or

Obtained a Grade D or E and holds an Arabic Language Proficiency Certificate with at least Band A2 (based on the CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or its equivalent from a recognised educational institution (for applications through the Centre for Educational Extension and Professional Development, UKMShape only).

and

APEL Certification by MQA with achievement at MQF Level 6;

and

Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for results obtained from Session 1 of 2021 onwards, or Band 2 for results from 2020 and earlier.

1. Completion of 12 years of primary and upper secondary education.

2. Possession of an Upper Secondary School Certificate, such as the Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate, Tawjihiya, Ijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas, or High School Diploma, with a minimum score of 70%, 80%, or 85% (depending on the country of origin).

3. Good grades in the following subjects:
   • Arabic Language
   • Two (2) Islamic Religious Education subjects.

4. Minimum English language proficiency equivalent to MUET Band 2 /IELTS Band 4.0-5.0 / TOEFL Band 31-45 or other equivalent examinations aligned with CEFR Band B1.

5. Proficiency in the Malay language is required.
