Pusat IDEA of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was honoured by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia to serve as the coordinating entity for the university’s exhibition booth at the Rancakkan MADANI Programme 2025, held from 5 to 7 December 2025 at Dataran Putrajaya, Putrajaya.
The exhibition, themed STEM and Artificial Intelligence (AI), featured four research products developed by UKM, namely Learning Kit: Introduction to Fuel Cell, Mettareka, Drone Soccer, and Sifira Game Multiplication Table. These innovations reflect the university’s commitment to integrating science, technology and creativity in developing educational tools and innovative solutions that benefit society.
Throughout the programme, the STEM and AI components at the UKM booth attracted significant public interest, drawing approximately 3,000 visitors who had the opportunity to explore and experience the showcased technologies firsthand alongside the researchers and product creators. The interactive engagement enabled visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the technologies and innovations developed by the university community.
The exhibition also provided a platform for researchers, industry players and government agencies to explore potential collaborations in research, technology transfer and the development of high-impact innovations. UKM’s participation in the programme further reinforced the university’s role as a leading institution in driving innovation and advancing knowledge and technology at the national level.
The Rancakkan MADANI Programme is one of the government’s initiatives aimed at strengthening public understanding of the Malaysia MADANI concept through community engagement, interactive activities, exhibitions and knowledge-sharing sessions. The programme was organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Acceleration and Coordination Unit (PACU), in collaboration with the Public Service Department (JPA) and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).
