Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Norazah Mohd Nordin, Director of the Centre for International Strategic Negotiation and Sustainable Development Goals, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM ISN-SDG), received a delegation from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Indonesia, as part of efforts to strengthen international research collaboration. The meeting was held on Monday, 18 August 2025, at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) campus.

Discussions focused on Digital Entrepreneurship, a strategic area aligned with the demands of the digital transformation era and supportive of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education (SDG 4). Through this initiative, the collaboration aims to develop innovative digital entrepreneurship models that can be applied across higher education institutions and the creative economy sectors in both Malaysia and Indonesia.

In addition to UNP and UKM, the collaboration also involves Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) and Universitas Terbuka (UT). The synergy among these four universities reflects a strong spirit of cross-border and inter-institutional cooperation in strengthening academic capacity and expanding knowledge development.

The UNP delegation was led by Rector Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D, accompanied by Prof. Asmar Yulastri, Ph.D, Dr. Hendra Hidayat, M.Pd, and Bayu Ramadhani Fajri, S.St., M.Ds. The meeting served as an important platform to expand research networks, enhance high-impact international publications, and strengthen the implementation of international collaborations.

Through this initiative, UNP reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the university internationalisation agenda, enhancing research quality, and making meaningful contributions to sustainable development through quality education.
