BENGKEL STRATEGIK PEMERKASAAN JABATAN SAINS KIMIA KE ARAH PENINGKATAN QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKING BY SUBJECT (CHEMISTRY)

Pada 1 Julai 2026, Jabatan Sains Kimia, Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi (FST), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) telah menganjurkan Bengkel Strategik Pemerkasaan Jabatan Sains Kimia ke arah peningkatan QS World University Ranking by Subject (Chemistry).

Bengkel ini menghimpunkan seluruh warga Jabatan Sains Kimia dalam satu platform perbincangan strategik yang memfokuskan kepada usaha memperkukuh kecemerlangan akademik, penyelidikan, jaringan kolaborasi serta inisiatif berimpak tinggi bagi meningkatkan prestasi penarafan QS World University Ranking by Subject (Chemistry).

Program ini turut menampilkan dua penceramah jemputan iaitu Dr. Lim Kar Keng, Timbalan Pengarah Eksekutif (Prestasi & Penarafan), Pusat Strategi UKM, serta Dr. Mohammad Saiful Mansor dari Jabatan Sains Biologi & Bioteknologi, FST UKM, yang telah berkongsi pandangan, pengalaman dan strategi ke arah memperkukuh kedudukan UKM di peringkat antarabangsa.

Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan diucapkan kepada semua ahli Jabatan Sains Kimia yang telah memberikan komitmen dan penglibatan sepanjang bengkel ini. Semoga segala idea dan perancangan yang dirangka menjadi pemangkin kepada kecemerlangan jabatan, sekali gus menyumbang kepada peningkatan reputasi UKM di persada global.

? STRATEGIC EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL SCIENCES TOWARDS ENHANCING THE QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS BY SUBJECT (CHEMISTRY)
On 1 July 2026, the Department of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), successfully organised the Strategic Empowerment Workshop for the Department of Chemical Sciences Towards Enhancing the QS World University Rankings by Subject (Chemistry).
The workshop brought together all members of the Department of Chemical Sciences in a strategic platform to discuss and formulate initiatives aimed at strengthening academic excellence, research performance, collaborative networks, and other high-impact efforts to enhance the department’s contribution to the QS World University Rankings by Subject (Chemistry).
The programme featured two distinguished speakers: Dr. Lim Kar Keng, Deputy Executive Director (Performance & Rankings), UKM Strategy Centre, and Dr. Mohammad Saiful Mansor from the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, FST UKM. They shared valuable insights, experiences, and strategic perspectives on strengthening UKM’s global standing and advancing excellence in higher education.
