Chemical Technology Programme

Chemical Technology is a discipline of knowledge focusing on processing of materials, polymers and products that involves chemical sciences, techniques and instrumentations. The Chemical Technology Programme is offered by the UKM to meet the increasing demand for competent employees from public as well as private sectors. The programme combines Chemical Sciences, Chemical Engineering as well as other related fields, particularly Information Technology and Business Management. This enables the students to have a complete understanding of the knowledge, with high appreciation towards the technology and its applications that will contribute to the advance in the industry sector of the country without neglecting sustainable environmental management.

Entry requirements

General requirement:

  1. Complete 12 years of Primary and High School education; and
  2. Obtain High School (e.g. Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate, Tawjihiyah, Ijazah Sekolah Menengah Atas, High School Diploma); and
  3. Meet minimum English requirement set by faculty; and
  4. Pass UKM interview (if required) ; and
  5. Meet faculty specific requirement;
