Course overview

The Mechanical Engineering program at UKM is internationally recognized and ranked 201-250 in the QS World University Ranking 2021. The program provides a strong foundation in every field that makes up the major disciplines of mechanical engineering including mechanics, energy transfer, design and manufacturing, and engineering science. . During their stay at UKM, Mechanical Engineering students are exposed to real-world problem solving skills through involvement in design projects and engaging in the latest research activities with leading professors in the field of mechanics and manufacturing. Students are also exposed to the latest practices and knowledge through panel sharing from industry and industry training. Students have the opportunity to participate in national and international level competitions such as ROBOCON competition, Shell Eco-Marathon Asia, Autodesk Design Competition and others.
