Enumerators Unit is a team which is responsible for interviewing participants Malaysian Cohort Project. Interview is divided into seven main sections:
- Social and Demographic Data
- Medical Background
- Physical activity
- Environmental and Occupational
- Patterns and eating habits
- Diet Diary (Record food 24 Hours and Record food 2 Days)
- Health Diary For Next 6 Months
Interviewing process using the application of computer technology, also known as E – Questionnaire. Question by question will appear on the computer screen and the answer was only with the stylus pen (by typing on the virtual keyboard or by writing on the screen) used on the touch screen.
This method of using the latest technology can save time work in which the re-entry of data is not required (if using manual forms), in addition, to minimize errors in the process.
The data will be included in a standard format and can be directly inserted into the database cumulatively or by standard after undergoing Standard Quality Control Data.
Every enumerator shall be fully liable to the data they had collected. There are 5 main responsibilities are strictly to be observed in this unit are as follows:
- Follow Protocol Interview
- Make sure Confdentiality Participant Data
- Attitude maintain Polite
- Give Priority to Quality Data
- Be Wise In Trouble Handling Interview
The interview will take approximately one hour on average.
