University Requirements

Applicants must possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, or a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, and a Pass in History from 2013 onwards. A Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu obtained through the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Ulangan (SPMU) will also be accepted;

AND

PASS the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examination in 2025, or in 2024 and earlier, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and obtain at least:
Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in General Studies; and
Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two other subjects;

AND

Applicants must also obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations beginning from Session 1 of 2021, or within its validity period of five years from the date the test result is issued.

AND

Applicants must also fulfil the specific requirements of the chosen programme of study.

Applicants must possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, or a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, and a Pass in History from 2013 onwards. A Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu obtained through the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Ulangan (SPMU) will also be accepted;

AND

Pass the Foundation / Matriculation examination in 2025, or in 2024 and earlier, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;

AND

Applicants must also obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations beginning from Session 1 of 2021, or within its validity period of five years from the date the test result is issued.

AND

Applicants must also fulfil the specific requirements of the chosen programme of study.

Applicants must possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, or a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, and a Pass in History from 2013 onwards. Possess a Diploma or any other qualification recognised as equivalent by the University Senate and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA);

Applicants must also obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations beginning from Session 1 of 2021, or within its validity period of five years from the date the test result is issued.

AND

Applicants must also fulfil the specific requirements of the chosen programme of study.

Applicants must possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, or a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, and a Pass in History from 2013 onwards. A Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu obtained through the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Ulangan (SPMU) will also be accepted;

AND

Pass the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) examination in 2025 or earlier with at least Jayyid;

AND

Applicants must also obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations beginning from Session 1 of 2021, or within its validity period of five years from the date the test result is issued.

AND

Applicants must also fulfil the specific requirements of the chosen programme of study.

Applicants must possess the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia, or a Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper, and a Pass in History from 2013 onwards. A Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu obtained through the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Ulangan (SPMU) will also be accepted;

AND

Be a graduate of the Malaysia Sports School Pre-University Programme.

AND

Applicants must also obtain at least Band 1.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations beginning from Session 1 of 2021, or within its validity period of five years from the date the test result is issued.

AND

Applicants must also fulfil the specific requirements of the chosen programme of study.

*HEET is recognised and accepted as an admission requirement for entry into UKM, equivalent to IELTS, TOEFL, MUET, PTE and other equivalent examinations, to fulfil the English language admission requirement for students entering UKM, as stated in the Ministry of Higher Education letter, reference KPJPT/JPT(A)1000/016/018/07 Vol. 17 (50), dated 30 August 2023, and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) letter, reference MQA.600-2/15/2 Vol. 7 (24), dated 14 September 2023.

Local Student
Applications for full time study programmes (STPM, Matriculation, STAM and Diploma/ Equivalent) must be submitted via Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education online application. Applications for studies in all the programmes offered are published in local newspapers between the month of January to April every year.
