Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

  1. Each oral presentation is allocated 15 minutes. One should spend about 10 minutes presenting the problem, the background, the innovative approach, the new results, and – if appropriate – the comparative evaluation. The remaining 5 minutes will be reserved for questions and discussion with the attendees.
  2. The presenters should introduce themselves to the session chairs before the beginning of the session to allow a smooth running of the session.
  3. Each session will be moderated by a session chair.

Images and figures should have sufficient resolution (minimum 300 dpi) to ensure clear printing.

  1. Poster Organisation
There is no specific template for the poster layout. Authors are free to use their own design. However, you are advised to divide your poster into sections such as Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions. You might consider organising your poster around the following questions, but not compulsory:
  • What problem do you address? (Objectives)
  • Why is this problem important? (Background)
  • How did you address the problem? (Methods)
  • What did you discover as a result of your work? (Results)
  • What are the conclusions or greater implications of your work? (Discussion and conclusions)

POSTERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE DISPLAYED THROUGHOUT THE CONFERENCE.
Posters representing authors are required to be available for presentation during the scheduled poster sessions. The poster should be put up no later than 9 am on the first day of the conference.
