International Conference on Cybersecurity 2019 (ICoCSec2019)

Welcome to The International Conference on Cybersecurity 2019 (ICoCSec2019), hosted by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) on 25 ~ 26 September 2019 at USIM, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan Malaysia.

Malaysia is the third among 193 countries in terms of its commitment to cybersecurity, according to the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2017. Cybersecurity is set as one of the National Priority Areas which is comprised under the National Policy IR4.0 (Cyber Security, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence).

Inline with the strong indication by the government and its relevant cybersecurity agencies, a recent series of RoundTable Discussion have been held recently among a group of researchers who are committed to position Malaysia as an emerging powerhouse in Cybersecurity. In April 2019, The CyberSecurity Academia Malaysia (CSAM) is successfully formed as a Special Interest Group under Majlis Dekan ICT a.k.a. MADICT (Council for ICT Deans) to strategise and strengthen the cooperation among academia. For 2019-2020, CSAM is led by UKM via UKM Center for Cyber Security.The International Conference on Cybersecurity 2019 (ICoCSec2019) is a conference recognised under the CSAM initiative.

ICoCSec2019 is a dedicated platform for the advancement in cybersecurity covering very broad area of interest i.e. information security, network security, application security etc.

This is to encourage participation and promotion of collaborative scientific, industrial and academic inter-workings among individual researchers, practitioners, members of existing associations, academia, regulatory bodies, and including government departments and agencies.

Hence, ICoCSec2019 invites researchers and industry practitioners to submit papers that encompass principles, analysis, design, methods and applications. All submitted papers are independently peer-reviewed.

Selected Quality Papers will be invited to be published into the following journal:
