1. Book Chapter Published by Springer

Summary of the Book:

This book highlights space science and communication, which is one of the pillars of sustainable development from Earth to space science forms. Research and development in this part play a crucial role in sustainability development. The space issue is always on. Obtaining essential data in the physical world to interpret the universe and to predict what will happen in the future is challenging. Valid information to understand trends, evaluates needs, and creates sustainable development policies and programs in the best interest of all the people is indispensable.

This book is prepared in conjunction with the fifth meeting of the 2017 International Conference on Space Science and Communication (IconSpace2017) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 3-5 May 2017 to help graduate students, researchers, lecturers, engineers, geospatialist, meteorologist, climatologist, astronomers or practitioners to develop new knowledge in the applications of space science, telecommunications, meteorology, remote sensing and related fields. All kinds of space science and technology applications are the subject of discussion. Papers on space science-related topics, for example, the formation of global warming from space, religion in space and microorganisms tested in space, are also welcome.

This is a guideline for a book chapter for the Springer book “Space Science and Communication for Sustainability“. The files are provided by Springer.

JPCS is a peer-reviewed and open access publication from Institute of Physics (IOP) publishing with Online ISSN: 1742-6596 and Print ISSN: 1742-6588. Papers in JPCS are indexed in SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science (WoS). For more details the journal, please visit  http://iopscience.iop.org/journal/1742-6596.

Preparing your paper

IOP Conference Series uses author-supplied PDFs for all online and print publication. Authors are asked to prepare their papers using Microsoft Word, according to the journal guidelines and templates. Full instructions on preparing your paper, along with templates, can be found on the IOP Conference Series website.

  • A thorough proof read is conducted to check standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.

It is important to ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form ready for publication, and has been thoroughly proofread. IOP do not copyedit papers and will not send out author proofs prior to publication. Please note: post-publication changes are not usually permitted, unless there are exceptional circumstances, so please ensure your paper has been checked for errors.

Important: please read before you submit a paper

  • Accepted paper for inclusion in the JPCS is compulsory presented in the IconSpace2017.
  • IOP Conference Series operates a publishing license, under which authors retain copyright of their papers and no longer need to sign and submit copyright assignment forms. Any author who wishes to publish in IOP Conference Series must agree to the terms of the license and by submitting a paper for publication it is assumed all authors of the paper agree, in full, to the terms of the license. The license terms and conditions are available online.
