Who Are We?

i-CRIM Centralised Laboratory is a research and technical service laboratory under Centre for Natural and Physical Laboratory Management UKM (ALAF-UKM) recognized both nationally and internationally. The laboratory has obtained ISO/IEC 17025 certification, demonstrating its capability and competence in conducting testing and calibration in accordance with international standards. The staff members have also received professional recognition from the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) as Professional Technologists (Ts.) and Certified Technicians (Tc.) in various technological fields.

In 2024, i-CRIM was honored with the Laboratory Excellence Award by the Institute of Chemistry Malaysia (IKM) in recognition of its outstanding contributions in delivering chemical and mechanical analysis services. The laboratory offers over 50 comprehensive types of analytical services, catering to a wide range of analysis needs across government agencies and industrial sectors.
