EQUIPMENT / FACILITIES

Raise3D Printer Pro 2 Plus

An industrial-grade, large-format 3D printer with dual extrusion capability, designed for high-precision prototyping and manufacturing of complex parts.

How it Works / Principle

  • Utilizes Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology, where thermoplastic filament is heated, extruded through a nozzle, and deposited layer by layer to build a 3D object.
  • Dual extruder system allows printing with two different materials or colors simultaneously.

Key Features / Advantages

  • Large build volume: 305 × 305 × 605 mm (suitable for tall and complex models).
  • Dual extrusion with electronic lifting nozzle for cleaner, faster multi-material printing.
  • High-resolution printing up to 10 microns layer thickness.
  • Enclosed, heated build chamber for better material performance and reduced warping.
  • Wide material compatibility (PLA, ABS, HIPS, PETG, Nylon, TPU, carbon-fiber composites).
  • Touchscreen interface with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity.
  • Reliable 24/7 continuous operation, designed for professional use.

Applications

  • Rapid prototyping of mechanical components and product designs.
  • Manufacturing functional parts, tools, and jigs.
  • Research in materials, additive manufacturing, and design optimization.
  • Educational use for teaching 3D printing, CAD, and product development.
  • Production of customized or low-volume end-use parts.

A desktop resin-based 3D printer that uses LCD masking technology to create high-resolution prints, ideal for detailed prototypes and models.

How it Works / Principle

  • Operates on MSLA (Masked Stereolithography Apparatus) technology.
  • A UV light source passes through an LCD screen that masks each layer’s pattern, curing photosensitive resin layer by layer.
  • The build platform lifts after each cured layer, gradually forming the 3D object.

Key Features / Advantages

  • 6.08-inch monochrome LCD with 2K resolution for sharp, accurate prints.
  • Faster layer curing time (~2 seconds per layer) compared to RGB LCD printers.
  • Sturdy CNC-machined aluminum body for durability and precision.
  • Activated carbon air filter reduces resin odor.
  • User-friendly interface with a 3.5-inch color touchscreen.
  • Compact size suitable for desktop use.

Applications

  • Printing highly detailed prototypes and models.
  • Manufacturing dental models, jewelry patterns, and miniature figures.
  • Educational use for teaching resin printing and digital fabrication.
  • Research in material science and additive manufacturing. Custom part production for engineering and design projects.
