The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), represented by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Haji Megat Sany bin Megat Ahmad Supian, Deputy Secretary-General (Policy), officiated the launch of two UKM products, Air4School and Ortho Shoe, developed by PEMULA@UKM companies in conjunction with the Festival of Ideas Putrajaya 2025 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on 6 November 2025.

Air4School by Derialah Sdn. Bhd. is a smart sensor that monitors air quality in schools, helping to create a healthier and safer learning environment. The product was developed with funding support from SME Corporation Malaysia.

OrthoShoe by MyB Innovation Sdn. Bhd. is an orthopedic shoe specially designed to support individuals with special mobility needs, allowing them to walk more comfortably and stably.

These innovative products reflect the research capabilities of the university and the strength of the PEMULA@UKM program ecosystem in translating research into practical, market-ready solutions that benefit society.
