1. Evaluate current concepts in medical education
2. Summarize problems related to current issues and challenges in medical education based on in-depth literature review
3. Design research method and conduct research project to explore the science of education knowledge
4. Analyze critically and defend research findings
5. Formulate and distribute research findings beyond the boundaries of knowledge
6. Complete and present manuscript for publication
7. Lead, cooperate and communicate with colleagues, academic community and society in the field of education
8. Exhibit research culture in the context of academic, professional and society development

A Master degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) or any equivalent institutions of higher learning or equivalent degree from any institution accredited by the Senate

or

Other equivalent qualification to Master degree and possesses other qualification or accredited experience by the Senate

Candidates who do not possess Bachelor or Master degree in Education, are required to enroll into the Postgraduate certificate course through audit registration
