A. Guidelines for Accepting Long Abstracts
1. Untuk setiap abstrak panjang yang dihantar, satu sub tema yang paling tepat menggambarkan sumbangan makalah mesti dinyatakan. Jawatankuasa berhak menetapkan kategori tematik yang diperlukan.
For each extended abstract submitted, one sub-theme that most accurately reflects the contribution of the paper must be indicated. The Committee reserves the right to assign the appropriate thematic category.
2. Semua abstrak panjang akan diselaraskan dan disemak oleh Jawatankuasa.All of the extended abstracts will be reviewed and coordinated by the Committee.
3. Hanya karya asli yang belum diterbitkan atau diterima untuk pembentangan di persidangan lain akan diterima.Only original work that has not been published or accepted for presentation at other conferences will be considered.
4. Abstrak panjang mesti mengikut format templat yang diberikan dan dihantar dalam format fail Word.Extended abstracts must follow the provided template and be submitted in Word file format.
5. Abstrak panjang mesti selari dengan tema persidangan.Extended abstracts must align with the conference theme.B. Extended Abstract Submission Guidelines
1. Abstrak panjang hendaklah ditulis antara 2 hingga 4 halaman.
The extended abstract must be between 2 to 4 pages in length.
2. Tajuk adalah ringkas dan jelas menunjukkan isi kandungan abstrak panjang.
The title should be concise and clearly reflect the content of the extended abstract.
3. Abstrak panjang boleh ditulis dalam bahasa Inggeris atau bahasa Malaysia.
Extended abstracts may be written in either English or Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Gunakan singkatan dan simbol standard. Penggunaan singkatan dicadangkan pada jumlah yang minimum dan setiap singkatan ditakrif dahulu untuk pertama kali sebelum ia digunakan. Rajah atau jadual harus mengikut UKM Style dan rujukan harus mengikuti Gaya APA seperti dalam templat abstrak panjang.
Use standard abbreviations and symbols. The use of abbreviations should be kept to a minimum, and each abbreviation must be defined the first time it appears. Figures and tables must follow the UKM Style, and references must comply with the APA Style as specified in the extended abstract template.
5. Abstrak ditulis dalam Word, disemak ejaan dan tatabahasa dengan teliti, dan dihantar melalui aplikasi kNovasi2025. Pilih sub tema yang sesuai. Abstrak tidak boleh diubah (nama pengarang, tajuk dan isi kandungan) setelah tarikh akhir penyerahan abstrak.
Abstracts must be written in Word format, thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar, and submitted via the kNovasi2025 application. Select the appropriate sub-theme. Abstracts cannot be modified (including author names, title, and content) after the abstract submission deadline.
6. Pengarang bagi abstrak yang telah diterima dijemput untuk membentangkan kajian mereka dalam bentuk persembahan lisan.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to present their work in an oral presentation.
7. Pengarang boleh menyemak jadual pembentangan setelah penjadualan selesai, selewat-lewatnya seminggu sebelum tarikh persidangan.
Authors may check the presentation schedule once it is finalized, no later than one week before the conference date.
8. Setiap abstrak panjang mesti mengandungi:
a.Tajuk b.Abstrak c.Kata kunci d.Pengenalan e.Hasil dan Perbincangan f.Kesimpulan g.Penghargaan h.Rujukan
Each extended abstract must include the following sections:
a.Title b.Abstract c.Keywords d.Introduction e.Results and Discussion f.Conclusion g.Acknowledgement h.References
9. Semua abstrak panjang akan diterbitkan dalam Prosiding kNovasi 2025.
All extended abstracts will be published in the kNovasi 2025 Proceedings.
C. Full Paper
T&L Full Paper Presentation in kNovasi 2025
Full Paper (optional)
1. Authors of the accepted extended abstracts are invited to submit a full paper using the full paper template. The deadline for the full paper submission is 29th of September 2025. The full paper is optional and it will be blind reviewed. Selected papers will be published in the ASEAN Journal of Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (AJTLHE) journal or as a book chapter (Penerbit UKM).
2. The full paper for both book chapters and AJTHLE must be submitted through the kNovasi 2025 apps latest by 29th September 2025.
3.The submission of the full paper is optional and will be blind reviewed. Selected papers will be published in the AJTLHE journal, indexed Mycite or in a book as book chapters published by Penerbit UKM. If authors do not wish to submit to ATJHLE or as book chapters, authors may also submit to other preferred journals by themselves
4. When submitting the full paper through the apps, authors must ‘select’ in the options list, either ‘AJTHLE’ or ‘Book Chapter’. For AJTLHE papers, a first screening will be conducted by the kNovasi Scientific Committee. Once the paper is chosen by the Scientific Committee, the author/s will be notified to submit the paper through the AJTHLE submission website for the peer-review process.
5. There are no additional fees for publication in the AJTHLE journal and Book Chapters.
Guidelines for the Chapter in Book:
1. The chapter in book must be written in Malay.
2. The chapter in book must follow the following format: Introduction, Sub-topic 1, Sub-topic 2, Sub-topic 3, Sub-topic (x), Conclusion.
3. The approximate number of pages for each chapter: 15-18 pages, Times New Roman, Font 12, double spacing
4. Authors must ensure that each photo, figure and table does not have any copyright infringements.
5. It is recommended that references are from the last 5 years, and must comply to the UKM Style.
6. Kindly refer to the examples from book chapters in the kNovasi 2020 book as attached below.
Guideline for AJTLHE:
1. The full paper must contain: Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References
2. The full paper can be written in Malay or in English.
3. It must follow the scope of the journal, which relates to research in teaching and learning at university level and not related to research at kindergarten, primary and secondary school levels.
4. Refer to this guideline ‘how to submit through the AJTLHE online system’.
5. In the comments to the editor, kindly note that the paper is from kNovasi 2025. Please send an email as well to notify the Scientific Committee after your submission to saiful-z@ukm.edu.my
6. In the submission Comments to editors and email to the Scientific Committee, please suggest THREE potential reviewers for your paper. The paper will be first screened for any substantial errors and formatting discrepancies.
