Here's a detailed breakdown of the presentation time structure:

Presentation Breakdown

1. Introduction: Presenters should spend around 30 seconds introducing themselves, their affiliation, and their presentation topic.

2. Main Presentation: The core of the presentation, lasting approximately 4 minutes, should cover the statement of the problem, the teaching and learning innovation that emerged in response, the implementation of this innovation, the feedback and subsequent improvement efforts, and the overall impact. Presenters should ensure their content is clear, concise, and engaging, using visual aids like slides or videos where appropriate.

3. Conclusion: The final 30 seconds should summarise the innovation's key points and highlight any awards, recognition, copyrights, or patents associated with the innovation.

4. Q&A Session: Reserve around 10 minutes for questions and answers. Prepare to address judges’ questions, providing clarifications and additional insights as needed.

Time Tips

To help you make the most of your allocated time, consider the following tips:

1. Rehearse Your Presentation: Practice delivering your presentation several times to get a feel for the timing. This approach will help you stay within 5 minutes for the presentation and ensure a smooth flow.

2. Use Visual Aids Wisely: Visual aids can enhance understanding and engagement, but they should complement your spoken words, not overwhelm them. Ensure your slides are clear, relevant, and not overloaded with text.

3. Engage with the Jury: Maintain eye contact, use body language effectively, and invite interaction during your presentation. This approach keeps the jurors engaged and interested.

4. Be Concise: Focus on the most critical points of your innovation. Avoid unnecessary details and jargon that might confuse the jurors or take up valuable time.
