Introduction

The International Future Scientists Conference 2025 (iFSC 2025) is the 14th in a series of successful conferences organised by Pusat PERMATA@pintar Negara, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

This conference aims to holistically nurture invention and innovation among young researchers through a multidisciplinary approach integrating Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STREAM).

This is a key platform for students to exchange and share their research findings & perspectives in various research areas. This process enhances their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills to become powerful thinkers and great decision-makers.

iFSC 2025 is officially recognised by the Sports, Co-curricular, and Arts Division, Ministry of Education (BSKK KPM), under the Assessment of Physical, Sports, and Co-curricular Activities (PAJSK) as Involvement II, International Level, and International Level Achievement.

Abstract
Submission Guidelines

  1. Participation in the Research and Innovation categories can be made by submitting an abstract via Google Form.
  2. The abstract should be 250 – 300 words and include 3 – 5 keywords.
  3. The abstract must be written in English. Save the document in Word and rename it with [Article Title_School].
  4. The abstract should include the following:
    • Objective: Briefly state the purpose and objectives of the research.
    • Methodology: Describe the methods and procedures used in the study.
    • Results: Summarise the main findings of the research.
    • Conclusion: Provide a brief conclusion that highlights the significance of the findings.
  5. The first deadline for abstract submission is 29 October 2025.
  6. Abstract will be reviewed by the conference committee, and notification of acceptance will be sent to authors via email.
  7. The abstract cannot be altered (author name, title, and content) after the final date of abstract submission.
  8. If the abstract is selected, participants will receive an email notification for registration arrangements. Payment must be made before 1 November 2025, to ensure your participation is accepted.
  9. The final deadline for abstract submission is 6 November 2025 (after receiving comments from the reviewer).

Full Paper
Submission Guidelines

  1. The full paper must be written in English and related to the conference theme.
  2. Save the document in PDF and rename it with [Article Title_School]
  3. The full paper must not exceed 10 pages, including references.
  4. Submission of a full paper should include:
    • Introduction, literature review, methodology, results/findings, discussion, conclusion, and references.
    • Discussion must include the impact of research findings on the human ecosystem.

Poster
Submission Guidelines

  1. Posters must be submitted for the exhibition during the conference for the physical mode category.
  2. Poster must be designed in A1 size (594 x 841 mm).
  3. The poster must be prepared in English, saved as a PDF, and renamed with [Article Title_School].
  4. Poster presentation must include the following:
    • Title
    • Introduction
    • Objective/Hypothesis
    • Methodology
    • Results/Findings
    • Conclusion
  5. Ensure the poster is clear, visually engaging, and easy to read from a distance.

Video Poster
Submission Guidelines

  1. The recorded video poster presentation must be submitted for the virtual mode category.
  2. Video should be prepared within 5 -15 minutes in length.
  3. Video presentation must include the following:
    • Team members’ and research topic’s introduction.
    • Objectives and significance of the research.
    • Explanation of the research methodology or any innovative approaches used.
    • Highlight of the key findings and its implications.
    • Conclusion of the future directions or potential applications of the research (if any).
  4. Please ensure that the study is related to the designated theme.
  5. There will be no “Question & Answer” session for the video presentation category. The judging session is entirely based on the video submitted.
