Introduction

Strategic and Academic Network

Secretariat Network and Income Generation Faculty of Medicine welcomes cooperation with strategic partners or academic partners for the benefit of both parties. In the context “strategic partners” are defined as government agencies, statutory bodies, private companies, and government-linked companies (GLCs), small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Whereas “academic partners” refer to universities, colleges and institutions of public or private institutions. Strategic partners or academic partners that are interested in working with the Faculty of Medicine UKM  may send an official letter to the Dean of the Faculty. Collaboration between the two entities may require the signing of the MoU / MoA / Loi / Research Agreement in accordance with the cooperation to be executed.

Possible collaborations include:

  1. Expertise workshops and seminars
  2. Motivational Talk
  3. Visit to industry / internship in industry
  4. Facilitate / Exchanging expertise of faculty staff to industry, and vice versa
  5. Student involvement
  6. Faculty staff as speakers / coaches / key personnel by industry / government agencies
  7. Negotiations
  8. Research
  9. Professional service
  10. Activity Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  11. Expert endowment
  12. Sponsorship of facilities, working space, and more ( industry is allowed to name company on sponsored equipment )
  13. Student scholarships / sponsorships
