At EKOMAR community engagement is a collaborative process connecting the the research centre with communities in an exchange of knowledge, expertise and experience. Through engagement with our communities we create inspiring student learning experiences, innovative and relevant research, and ultimately, stronger and more vibrant communities and regions.

Community Engaged Learning (EKOMAR x SMSains Sembrong)

Engaging with communities is at the heart of our strategic plan. Anyone can submit a project idea, and any UKM staff or student can apply to join a project. Once your application to join has been approved by EKOMAR team you will be provided with detailed information on the project and the partner organisation’s contact information. If you are interested in partnering with EKOMAR on a teaching or research project, please send your information to ekomar@ukm.edu.my
