Dr. Atiqah binti Mohd Afdzaluddin is a Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She earned her BSc and MSc in Materials Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2011 and 2014, respectively, before completing her PhD in Biocomposites Technology and Design at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2018. As a member of the Microelectronics Semiconductor Packaging Group at IMEN, her research primarily focuses on MEMS and electronic packaging materials, advanced materials, nanomaterials, and hybrid biocomposites. Dr. Atiqah is a prolific academic with over 80 publications to her name, and her significant contributions to hybrid composites and materials engineering led to her being recognized by Stanford University as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists for the year 2023.
