Introduction
The SDGs Committee was formed during the Library Professional Officers Meeting No. 2/2021, dated December 13, 2021.
Committee Terms of Reference:
Collect information regarding projects/activities/
programs/initiatives implemented by the UKM Library.
The committee will evaluate the project/activity/program/
whether the initiatives implemented meet the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Organize briefings or training related to SDGs.

Bicara Ilmu@PTSL Series 15: Hamka's Legacy of Thought, Blooming Throughout Time
Introduction:
The late Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah (HAMKA) or better known as Buya Hamka was a prominent Islamic scholar, writer, scholar, and thinker who was influential in the archipelago and the Islamic world. His legacy of character, thoughts, and works are still relevant and provide inspiration in efforts to form a knowledgeable and moral society. Therefore, the Buya Hamka: A Nostalgia of Inspiration of a National Figure program is proposed to commemorate and appreciate his intellectual legacy in the context of science, literature, culture, and so on.
Objective:
- To provide exposure to the community about Hamka's thoughts and contributions.
- Cultivate interest in the history and heritage of Nusantara figures among the younger generation.
- Providing a platform for knowledge sharing by individuals experienced in Hamka studies.
- Promoting a culture of reading and appreciation of Hamka's work.
- Opening a space for scientific discussion regarding the relevance of Hamka's thoughts in the current context.
