The purpose of the course is to provide an exposure and knowledge enhancement regarding medicolegal aspects of healthcare practices. The course contents which includes introduction to medicolegal, issues and risk in medicolegal as well as approach in handling complaints are suitable for medical and healthcare providers, as well as other healthcare professionals and administrators working directly or indirectly in the disciplines involving quality of healthcare, patient safety and clinical risk management. The course will be delivered via lectures, case discussions, and forum session.

Classes will be conducted in a hybrid mode. Most sessions will be held online via Zoom, scheduled at night from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, according to the programme timetable (not every night). Additionally, there will be one physical session at UKM, with the date and time to be announced.
While attendance is not compulsory, it is highly encouraged for those intending to claim Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, as attendance records are required for CPD certification.

Yes. All participants who complete the course will receive a certificate issued by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
