“Assalamualaikum and greetings to all,

It is my great pleasure to warmly invite you to the first ASEAN Pharmacy Distance Learning Symposium themed, ‘Challenges and Best Practices’, on 2 September 2021.

In the current global pandemic, we are faced with extremely challenging times. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our normal routines and standards, including our teaching and learning methods in higher education. 

This symposium is aimed to bring together our strategic partners from the Southeast Asia region, to build a stronger bond in our academic relations by sharing our experiences in dealing with this change. 

It will feature highly respected speakers representing each participating university, who will share and discuss strategies and approaches taken on managing education in each institution during this pandemic. Hopefully, this effort will help us rise together towards excellence despite these challenging times.
