ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (PhD)

  1. A Master’s degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or equivalent from a recognized university OR;
  2. Other qualification considered equivalent to a master’s degree or other equivalent qualifications with experience recognized by the Senate OR;
  3. A student who currently pursuing a full-time master’s programme in university and recommended by the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee for status conversion to a doctoral programme with the approval from the Dean OR;
  4. A bachelor’s degree (Honors) 1st class or equivalent with at least CGPA 3.67 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or any institution recognized by the Senate and for international student, minimum score of 6.0 (IELTS) or equivalent *fast track.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (MSc)

  1. Pointer of 2.75 per 4.0 in Bachelor’s degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or equivalent from a recognized university OR;
  2. Pointer of 2.50 – 2.74 in Bachelor’s degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or equivalent from a recognized university with rigorous internal assessment OR;
  3. Pointer of 2.00 – 2.49 in Bachelor’s degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or equivalent from a recognized university with 5 years working experience and rigorous internal assessment.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATE

International candidates are required to pass TOEFL or IELTS with a minimum of 550 and 5.5, respectively. For International candidates who intend to enrol in a fast-track program, they must possess a bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with first class honour or with CGPA more than 3.67 or equivalent qualification. They must also pass TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 or IELTS with a minimum band 6.0.
