Food & Society International Conference, 17-19 November 2017

On 17th-19th November 2017, KITA had organized the 2nd Food & Society International Conference at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. The conference captured a broad audience who have a genuine interest in food, be it a research object or simply an authentic passion. The 2017 Food & Society International Conference featured a variety of programs, beginning with welcoming cocktail at the French Ambassador’s Residence on day one. On day two, it was a full day with four keynote presentations, one concurrent session, a food workshop by Chef Devagi Sanmugam, and the conference dinner catered by the hospitality team from Sunway University. Day three started with concurrent sessions and wrapped up with a plenary session and Food & Music workshop, which featured students from INTI International College Subang, Chef’s from Cambodia and Japan. The next Food & Society International Conference will be held in Paris, France in 2019.
