Digital Learning Week @ UNESCO HQ, Paris, 2-5 September 2025

Heartiest congratulations to KITA Research Fellow Dr. Nurul Akqmie Badrul Hisham for representing KITA and the UNESCO Chair @ UKM in the Digital Learning Week under the theme “AI and the Future of Education: Disruptions, Dilemmas and Directions”, organized by UNESCO. The event took place at UNESCO HQ in Paris, France, on 2-5 September 2025. At the program, she presented a paper titled “Exploring Digital Fluency in Ethnic Studies Among Malaysian Youth,” highlighting the relevance of KITA and the UNESCO Chair @ UKM’s research on artificial intelligence, youth, and intercultural communication. Dr. Akqmie was the sole representative from Malaysia selected to deliver an in-person presentation at the event, alongside the Minister of Education, YB Fadhlina Sidek, who participated in the ministerial panel session.
