MoU Signing Ceremony between UKM and Undana, Indonesia, 21 August 2024

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between UKM and Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana), Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia was held on August 21st, 2024 (Wednesday) in conjunction with the Cendana International Conference on Social and Political Science: Trend and Challenges on Indonesia, Malaysia and Timor Leste, that took place in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia on 21st and 22nd of August 2024.

The MoU was held to establish cooperation between the two parties in research, conference, publication, staff and student exchange, among others.

The MoU was signed by KITA Deputy Director, Prof. Dr. Kartini Aboo Talib @ Khalid who represented UKM. Also present to witness the ceremony on behalf of UKM were Prof. Dr. Mohd. Fuad Mat Jali (Pusat Pembelajaran Pesisir UKM-Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Novel Anak Lyndon (Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaini Othman (KITA) and En. Jamalul Lail Abdul Wahab (UKMShape).

Concomitantly, Prof. Dr. Kartini was also invited to deliver a keynote address on “Borderlands, Indigenous and Peripheral Communities” at the Conference.
