Welcome to the website of the Centre for Research in Psychology and Human Well-Being (PsiTra)

Centre for Research in Psychology and Human Well-Being (PsiTra) is one of six centres under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK). Established with the aim of becoming a pioneer in research, PsiTra focuses on three core areas: Counselling, Crisis Management and Social Welfare; Mental Health and Quality of Life; and Human Development and Occupational Psychology. Through its expertise and research contributions, PsiTra plays a significant role in promoting social development and enhancing the well-being of the community.

In the educational field, PsiTra offers three major academic programmes to the public—Psychology, Social Work, and Human Development. At present, the Centre offers two undergraduate programmes leading to a Bachelor of Social Science with Honours, four Master’s degree programmes, two Master of Philosophy programmes, and three Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
