Incident Photon to Charge Carrier Efficiency of Solar Cells (IPCE)
(Brand: Bentham)
(Model: PVE300-IVT)
Specification
PVE300-IVT
Description
The external quantum efficiency (EQE)/ internal photon conversion efficiency (IPCE), defined as the number of electrons provided to the external circuit per photon incident on the device, can be directly obtained from the spectral response. This measurement is performed by shining a monochromatic probe beam onto the sample and recording the photocurrent generated as a function of wavelength.
Range (nm)
300-1800
Probe light source
Xenon and Halogen
Type of Measurement
EQE, IQE, Reflectance, Transmittance
Type of Sample
Photovoltaic Device, Material (Silicon/Thin Film/DSSC/Perovskite)

Freeze Dryer
(Brand: Fisherbrand)
Items
Details
Description
Freeze drying is a low temperature dehydration process that involves freezing the product and lowering pressure, thereby removing the ice by sublimation. This is in contrast to dehydration by most conventional methods that evaporate water using heat. Freeze drying typically produces a high-quality product that maintains its original shape and can be successfully rehydrated.
Max Capacity
1.5L

Laser Beam Induced Current
(Brand: InfinityPV)
(Model: Thera)
Items
Details
Description
The Laser Beam Induced Current (LBIC) allows for easy
identification of defects, coating errors, shunts and photovoltaically
inactive regions. It is ideal for highlighting failure over time of solar
cells and modules that have been subjected to accelerated ageing tests, i.e.
ingress of permeants and contact failure is easily identified.
