REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION UNIT

UNDERGRADUATE

The registration and examination units are responsible for coordinating and monitoring students’ registration from the first year until graduation and convocation. The registration process involves student registration status, course registration such as add / drop / withdraw course, credit transfer and other matter related to student academics. In addition, this unit is also involved in the management of the lecture schedule for the Faculty / Center under the supervision of the Centre of Academic Management which has a shared lecture hall.

This unit is also responsible for preparing the examination schedule and handling of the final examination for undergraduate students including the appointment of the examination supervisor and the management of the examination questions paper, managing the student examination results and application for reviewing the results of the examination and the appeals to continue study. This unit also deals with student academic disciplinary matters, student examination records and advising on studies and examinations especially for students who have got warning. Student graduation matters include preparation of graduation (Senate), transcript (new and alternate) transcripts and scrolls.
