“Fiesta Kenali Ubat Anda” was held on 19 September 2015, from 7am until 5pm at Shah Alam Convention Centre. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about the important role of pharmacists among the public. During this “Fiesta Kenali Ubat anda”, there were a lot of booths to promote healthcare knowledge, products and services. For instance, drug consultation, organ donation campaign, government and non-government agency exhibition related to pharmaceutical products, smoking cessation exhibition, blood test services as well as blood pressure measurement. Moreover, Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society (MPS) recruited volunteers to assist them in promoting the role of MPS in Malaysia. Besides three representatives from UKM KL, there were also representatives from UM, IMU, SEGI, CUCMS and so on. In addition, interesting performances were perform to entertain the public such as aerobics, sketch games, “Jangan Lupa Lirik” competition, chants pharmacy, interactive campaign and karoot comedy. In this event, the organiser successfully invited Pharmacist Wady, Ebby Yus and Sabri Yunus. These speakers shared their experiences and medical knowledge with us and it was very inspiring and motivating.
