Ungku Omar College was built on 23 June 1976 and completed on 7 January 1978 with an area of 220 square feet. Ungku Omar College has four dormitory blocks, 23 dormitory blocks and three dormitory blocks that can accommodate a total of 1024 residents.

With the acronym KUO, this college is named after a national medical figure – the late Prof. Dato ’Dr. Ungku Omar bin Ahmad.

Moving in

  1. Notice related to application and confirmation is issued by Student Housing Centre.
  2. Students need to make an application and confirmation within the time set by the University.
  3. Students will be registered in the Student Information System (SMP) on the day of students registration.
  4. Acquire the requirements provided such as:
    • Room key;
    • Basic room facility inventory form;
    • Other requirements set by the residential college.
  5. Inspect the facility, fill out the form and submit it at the residential college counter.

Guest House

Ungku Omar College offers 2 types of Guest Houses available for rent by visitors.

Guest House Type:
Double Room – RM80/night
Quadruple Room – RM120/night

Among the facilities provided are air conditioning, electric kettle, mini fridge, television, water heater, WiFi and astro Njoi.
