Advance Bioactive Materials-Cells
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Research in the field of biomaterials, bioactive compounds, and cell-based therapies conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, UKM, is collectively represented under the “Advance Bioactive Materials-Cells” research group. Our research focuses on the development and application of innovative bioactive materials, including peptides, polymers, and nanocarriers, for tissue repair, regeneration, and drug delivery. By integrating materials science, cellular biology, and biomedical engineering, we aim to design functional biomaterials that enhance cellular responses and promote healing in various disease and injury models. The interdisciplinary nature of our group fosters collaboration that drives translational outcomes from bench to bedside.
